Kaelin Love - Lead Vocals and Guitar

Kaelin fell in love with music beginning with his childhood, listening to 80’s pop-rock hits, and later with the alternate-grunge movement during his teen years in the 90s. Bands like Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, and Red Hot Chili Peppers left an indelible mark on his taste in music. Kaelin has been writing and recording songs since high school, when he and several friends rented a Tascam 8 track home studio and recorded a low budget rock album. The experience increased his confidence in singing and recording, and also led him to begin songwriting on his own. As a sophomore in college, Kaelin recorded his first solo album Start Again in Bloomington, IN under the artist name End of Reason. After marrying and starting a family, he found that music had to take a backseat, but he continues to write and record original songs at home when he finds the time. Apart from rocking the stage, Kaelin’s other music interests involve leading worship. Kaelin has been involved on worship teams for several churches in the Southern Indiana area.

Aaron McKim - Drums

Aaron has been playing drums for over 35 years and has been in the local music scene for over 20 years. He has performed and recorded with several local bands, including Authentic U and Superface. He also is playing regularly on the worship team at his local church. His musical tastes cover the entire spectrum from Djent, Metalcore and Alt Rock to Jazz and Blugrass.

Gene Klusmeier - Guitar, Vocals, Percussion and Mandolin

Gene is born and raised in Southern Indiana. He loves a variety of music styles and instruments. He acts as the "Swiss Army Knife" of the band. Providing vocals, guitars and whatever else is needed to give the full JakJaw sound

Jeff Myers - Keyboards

Jeff has been a musician since his elementary school days. In high school he played clarinet, xylophone and piano. He loves playing E-blues and aspires to one day have his own Hammond B-3 organ and Leslie amp! His influences include Billy Joel and Ben Folds Five. When not playing music, Jeff can usually be found hanging out with his family, on a beach or playing golf. Hold onto your hats! JAKJAW rocks!

Allan Shingleton - Guitars

Jeffersonville, IN native Allan Shingleton has played in various bands since he was a teenager. Starting out on bass and then switching to guitar, he now serves as the lead guitarist for JakJaw. JakJaw serves as the perfect excuse for his guitar collecting habit, that has spiraled out of control since joining the band!

Eric Watson - Bass

Hailing from New Albany, IN, is Jakjaw's own The Watson. Watson's been playing bass for "more years than it sounds like" and has provided the low-end for bands such as Against the Captor, Ghostbomb, and local legends Sacred Sorrow for a long time. Influenced by metal and post-hardcore acts such as Coheed & Cambria, Circa Survive, and Periphery, Watson brings a little bit of new thunder with his old hands. Watson's also a high school English teacher, a Dungeon Master, an avid reader, and a perennial praise team member at Eastside Christian Church. Come throw down with him!
